Sari Edelstein is a professor of English at the University of Massachusetts, Boston. She is the author of 2 scholarly books, and her essays on American literature and culture have appeared in the Washington Post, the Los Angeles Review of Books, The New Inquiry, and NPR’s Cognoscenti. She lives in Cambridge, MA.
