Directions

Visits are by appointment only.

Driving: From I-90E, take exit 25. Keep right at the fork, follow signs for Haul Road/South Boston. Turn right onto NS380. Take the first right onto W Service Road. Take the 1st left onto Congress Street. Take the 3rd right onto Farnsworth Street.

From I-93S, take exit 23 toward Purchase Street. Continue straight, then turn left onto Seaport Boulevard. Turn right onto Sleeper Street. Turn left onto Congress Street. Turn left onto Farnsworth Street.

From I-93N, take exit 20 toward Logan Airport. Follow signs for South Boston. Turn left onto Congress Street. Turn right onto Farnsworth Street.

There is a parking garage directly across the street from Beacon Press's offices. We recommend you park there if you are driving.

Public Transportation: Take the MBTA red line to South station. Beacon Press is a half mile walk from there. After exiting the station, walk down Summer Street toward Fort Point Channel. Take the first left onto Dorchester Ave. Take the first right onto Congress Street. Farnsworth Street is the second left after you walk over the bridge.

From South Station, you can also take Silver Line (SL1 or SL2) to Courthouse Station. Beacon Press is a 0.2 mile walk from there. Exit the station onto Seaport Boulevard. If you’ve come up alongside the Yotel, walk past it a block and a half to Farnsworth Street, turn left and look for the Beacon Press sign overhead. (If you’ve come up on the other side of Seaport, look for a walkway and cross with care, then follow directions above.)

Cab or Ride Share Service: Tell your driver that Farnsworth Street is off Congress, a block past the Children’s Museum on the left if coming from downtown Boston. (Farnsworth is not an official city street and doesn’t always show up on GPS or maps.)
