Exam Copies

Examination copies are available to instructors seeking titles to review
for adoption consideration through our distributor Random
House, Inc. The charge for examination copies is $3.00 per title for
paperbacks under $20.00 and one-half the cover price for hardcovers and
paperbacks at or over $20.00.
Examination copies may be ordered from Random House online with a credit
card using the form provided here.
Written requests must be made on college letterhead stating the name
and ISBN of the title. Make checks or money orders (no cash) payable to
Random House, Inc. Examination copies are limited to ten per teacher per
school year and can only be mailed to valid U. S. addresses.

Examination copies (a maximum of 6 titles per year) are available to
college or university professors seeking titles to review for course adoption
consideration. For all examination copy requests, please use the Random
House online
form with a credit card payment here.
You may email us first at academictype@randomhouse.ca
or call 905-624-0672 and ask for the academic department to check for
price and availability. The charge for examination copies, to cover shipping
and handling costs, is $5.00 plus GST for each book under $30.00. For
books over $30.00, the charge is 50% of the book's retail price plus GST.
Exam copies will not be shipped to residences; they must be mailed in
care of your institution.

credit card information (Visa or MasterCard) and send your order with
payment (no cash please) to the following address:

Desk Copies

Beacon Press is pleased to provide complimentary desk copies of any adopted
text through our distributor Random
House, Inc. One desk copy is available for every twenty copies ordered.
Random House does not ship desk copies to residences: they must be mailed
in care of your institution. Please include your expected enrollment and
the name of the bookstore at which the text has been ordered. All requests
are subject to availability and approval.
